international organizations, commercial enterprises, and individuals.
The topics of such counsel include: development and enforcement of
regulatory and statutory regimes; strategies for market
structure/operations and market entry; intellectual property
management; technology development and commercialization strategies;
and support for new venture creation and entrepreneurship.
international practice also includes counsel to organizations outside
of the United States as they enter the U.S. marketplace and assistance
to U.S. companies as they enter and participate in markets outside of
the U.S. ALG has provided counsel to public and private organizations
in a wide range of nations, including: Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine,
Israel, Oman, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Ireland, Jamaica, China, Japan,
the United Kingdom, and South Africa.
As a reflection of ALG's international practice, Craig Blakeley of ALG has co-authored the book Global Information Technology Law. This book, which is updated annually, was first pubished in 2010 by West Publishing (Thomson Reuters) and covers legal and regulatory issues concerning Internet, telecommunications, broadcasting, intellectual property,e-commerce, and e-government in 23 countries.
